Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (DEEC) is one of the 14 Teaching and Research Units of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC). DEEC has pedagogical and scientific autonomy, following the general guidelines of the University of Coimbra.

DEEC has its own management bodies. The DEEC budget is defined annually by the FCTUC Board of Directors, and the DEEC manages several operating expenses.

DEEC may establish agreements, and contracts for the provision of services with public and private entities, as well as being part of associations of private nature.
